PROGRAM OVERVIEW


To understand the economic rules of the information age and to be able to distil them into sound business practices and strategies is crucial in today's business world. As new information technologies change the economic scene, managers must apply a new set of tools and models in order to take advantage of emerging opportunities and to handle a changing set of problems.

It is these management issues of the Information Age and the network economy which forms the focus of this program.

The program starts in Ronneby in early September each year and runs on a full time basis over the entire academic year (40 weeks). Within the program. you have to choose at least one specialization course worth 10 credits (15 ICTS) in the area of finance, management control and organizational theory.

You also choose a number of elective courses which deal with specific aspects of the general theme of the program. Throughout the program, collaboration with the surrounding ICT-industry - not the least within the business networks TelecomCity and Soft Center - is emphasized and you get ample opportunities to link up with relevant organizations. The program finishes with a master's thesis where you normally in teams of 2 or 3 on a problem or topic of your own choice.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in a business or management related subject.
TOEFL 550/213 or IELTS 6.0
